TalousTandem is a glimpse of humor into the various choices of student life. In the game, you guide yourself through your first three years of study. How do you live? Are you attending a party? Are you going for an exchange? Interested in investing?Weigh the options presented to you and strive to keep your finances, social relationships, happiness, and academic success in balance. The choices you make affect all of these areas of student life in real time. Remember that sometimes life can also surprise you!In TalousTandem, you get feedback based on the choices you make during the game. For example, if you decide not to take out the required home insurance, it may well prove to be the wrong choice. The further development of the game is also part of the DigiConsumers research project funded by the Strategic Research Council of the Academy of Finland, which seeks solutions to improve the financial and consumption skills of young people aged 13–25, especially in digital environments.
